The weather's getting hotter, and people are getting fatter

You know, at this rate, we human beings just might have to abandon this overcooked planet and spend the rest of our lives stuffing our faces as we whizz through a bloated spaceship in our automated wheelchairs, leaving poor robots to fix our dirty work.

It's crazy; by 8am, the sun's rays are already scorching, and the intensity of the beams don't stop until 7pm. You can taste the very heat in the air even if you're under the shade of an umbrella. I've been showering more than 3 times a day lately -- this coming from a girl who used to be able to survive 3 days without showering. (When not required to leave the house, that is.)

Meanwhile, people still insist on driving their vehicles around the campus, even though every building is within walking distance. Idiots. Don't they realise that their selfish polluting is making the heat even worse? Why don't you get the hell out of your car and start walking like the rest of us? God gave you legs to walk, not to push pedals. Worse are those who constantly indulge in weight-whining, and then instead of using the journey between class and hostel as an opportunity to burn their wobbly fat and do everyone a favour, they burn fuel instead. Pure genius.

I'm hot, and I'm pissed off. Obviously.

Global warming is getting really crazy. And yeah, I really don't get those who insist to drive to a place that's easily reachable by foot. I guess the heat has really affected them :S

yeah, it's been very hot for the past few days.. i heard that it will last until september.. the reason why they won't walk to class is because of the heat la, anisah.

anyway, even if i'm in an air-conditioned office for 10 hours a day, i feel the drastic heat rise at home. now, i sleep on the floor where it's cooler (you taught me that).

this morning, while waiting for the lrt, i felt no draft of wind at all. at kelana jaya station, there is usually some wind because the station is quite high up. but all i felt today was the heat!

yesterday, i turned on the fan, but the fun just blew hot wind on my face!

is it really global warming? there's this theory i heard that it's just normal climatic changes. just like how the earth's temperature rises, thus that lead to the end of the ice age.

Saya juga telah mula mandi 3 kali sehari.

Adakah ada planet yang boleh kita tinggal selain bumi?

atau adakah kita akan tinggal dalam kapal angkasa?

Wouldn't that make global warming worse?

What do I do when I'm hot? Cover up like nomads--
I did an experiment where, there I was walking with my baby in her sling, and I covered my face ala niqab to keep the heat away. It works!

But, people were staring, possibly wondering what beauty is hidden beneath the veil, or thinking, 'dude, wish I had an extra piece of cloth to do the same'.
