My Return To Civilisation City Life

Woo hoo!

I am BACK in Kuala Lumpur after a whole week thoroughly roughin it! Seriously, after 7 years of not baliking kampung waaay over at Kelantan, the whole living-in-an-ancient-wooden-house-on-stilts-by-the-river experience was a real eye-opener.

I’m still a bit tired after staying in the Myvi for seven hours(!) during the very long journey back here, but I couldn’t resist firing up the laptop and checking out the beloved world of the Internet – a world I’ve been separated from for a week. So here I am, blogging again :D

I might as well say it now; I’m a snob. No, I’m not the type that whines and complains about what horrible condition I’m staying in to everyone around me. I will, however, suffer silently and deal with it as best I can.

So how did I survive the simple kampong life? How did I avoid languishing in a house made completely out of wood, with no ceiling fans or, God forbid, air conditioning, but a hell of a lot of mosquitoes and leeches?

Simple: I kept myself busy.

I’d love to elaborate, but I’m really tired, so possibly more later this week.
I have work to do tomorrow (groan*Bong*groan), so I must sleep now. Till next time!

Word of the Week: Dodgy
